Mozart Music Effect

WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART – Serenade for strings No. 13 in G major (Eine kleine Nachtmusik), KV 525; Concerto for flute, harp and orchestra in C major, KV 299; Divertimento No. 3, in F major, KV 138; Symphony No. 29 in A major, KV 201

Central point of this concert is Mozart! Composer Giedrius Kuprevičius has shared his intriguing and novel thoughts on Mozart in the radio program Audiologues: “I am completely certain of the vitality, relevance, nonpareil emotional richness, the soundness of musical thought as well as flair and modernity of musical expression of the music of this genial composer. (…) Mozart’s music harbours so many secrets regardless of how many times one listens to it – like fairy-tales red in childhood, with each return it uncovers new meanings, fresh turns of thought, puts forward questions that provoke other answers.”

This afternoon the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra together with soloists Vytautas Sriubikis and Joana Daunytė will offer the reading of Mozart’s Concerto for flute and harp, Symphony No. 29, a cheerful Divertimento No. 3 and the popular serenade Eine kleine Nachtmusik (A Little Serenade).
