Musical for children Silver Lake-God
Concert moved from March 15, 2020, the tickets remain valid

Composer Vaida Striaupaitė-Beinarienė wrote musical Silver Lake-God after Aldona Liobytė’s stylised fairy tale. The main idea of this work is very relevant today and triggers contemplation of time that we dedicate to our closest people, of child’s endurance and courage, patience, aim and persistence in achieving the goal. Moreover, fairy tale Lake-God abounds with mysteries of the water world, vividness and intriguing characters.
“Somewhere, very far away, maybe even on Lake Siesartis, there was a boy called Lake-God. For wherever he was, he stayed near water, as if he had been bewitched. Mother was worried that the Water Spirit would trap the child in the water. But neither the winds have blown, nor the tide swept him away, nor did the Water Spirit draw him in, only the boy’s parents departed to earn the living, leaving Lake-God alone by the lake...” If you want to learn how did Lake-God do and what the fairy tale resolved into you are welcome to the concert!
