Tonight the National Philharmonic hosts Russian musicians. Graduate of the Gnessin State Music College in Moscow, singer Yena Ivanilova has also studied vocal in Montreal and earned the Vocal Art PhD from the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow. The singer has collaborated with a number of prominent baton masters including Kent Nagano, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Mikhail Pletnev and Vladimir Spivakov. Tonight she shares the stage with Andrei Korobeinikov, a younger generation pianist boasting a list of awards in various fields: at the age of twelve he entered the European Law School’s faculty in Moscow, from which he graduated cum laude in 2003; at the age of nineteen he graduated from the Moscow Conservatoire with a gold medal and completed post-graduate studies at the Moscow State University; became a member of the International Academy of Sciences San Marino; mastered Esperanto. The pianist is a winner of over twenty international competitions. Lithuanian audience had the pleasure of enjoying his performances with Kremerata Baltica.
