Musica humana juventus. Dialogues

In response to the decisions of the Vilnius City Municipality and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania regarding the coronavirus pandemic in the world, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society is cancelling concert.

This Sunday afternoon Musica humana chamber ensemble proceeds with its tradition of making music with young Lithuanian performers. This time it collaborates with clarinettists brothers Stasys and Rokas Makštutis. Both of them have earned prizes in various national and international competitions, both of them have repeatedly garnered Grand Prix, and have been awarded several letters of merit by Dalia Grybauskaitė, the President of the Republic of Lithuania. Stasys Makštutis, at just ten, played for the Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. Stasys was, and Rokas now is patronised by the M. Rostropovich Charity and Support Foundation “Help for Lithuanian Children”.

Both soloists have performed together with the Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra, St. Christopher Chamber Orchestra and Starkenburg Philharmonic Orchestra (Germany). S. and R. Makštutis are the fourth-generation musicians in the musical family.

10, 12 Eur. 1 hour before the concert tickets are available at the concert venue.
