Part of the CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES

Šviesė’s Chopin is more vital, humane and thus more attractive than the sugared poet or spiritual martyr, as he is often introduced to the audiences… Šviesė’s resourceful combination of waltzes allowed her to balance between bravura and melancholy, salon element and restraint. I would note her impeccable technique, precise execution of delicate embellishments, without losing herself in details, but with good sense of phrasing and form.”

Jūratė Katinaitė, Muzikos barai, 2001

Violinist Dainius Puodžiukas, a graduate of the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Arts and the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, has also studied in Paris and the USA. The winner of several international competitions, he now teaches at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre.
