The calendar indicates that spring is already here, but concert halls incapacitated by the pandemic still cannot open the door to their loyal listeners. Nevertheless, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society invites to traditionally spend Saturday evening together – the symphonic music concert Symphonic Spring scheduled for March 27 will be broadcast from the National Philharmonic Hall.

The concert will feature the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) led by Vilmantas Kaliūnas and Robertas Šervenikas, the LNSO String Octet led by violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė, and two soloists – soprano Vida Miknevičiūtė, whom the legendary baton master Daniel Barenboim addresses “Mia Vida”, and Vytautas Sriubikis, the principal flute of the LNOBT orchestra, educated at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and Würzburg University of Music (Germany).

The concert programmepresents the latest Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society’s recordings, which the listeners will hear for the first time.
