Aurelija Matulevičiūtė’s repertoire embraces music of various styles – from the well-known Italian pop music and Brazilian rhythms to classical opuses, soundtracks and her own compositions. Having chosen her professional path while still in Vilnius Nauja Vilnia Music School, today the accordionist, abroad known as AuremA, is considered to be one of the most promising young musicians. In 2014, she took the audience of 10000 aback when appearing with Steven Tyler, the legendary “Aerosmith” in Siemens Arena in Vilnius. Matulevičiūtė collaborates with Marco Lo Russo (accordion, Italy), Čiurlionis Quartet, Vilnius Tango Theatre, Alejandro Escobar (tenor, Columbia), Mirko Guadagnini (the director of Liederiadi festival, tenor; Italy), Giovanni Frizon (composer, Italy) and many others. Open to diverse music styles and genres, the Čiurlionis Quartet, a recipient of the Lithuanian National Prize, joins the accordion virtuoso in soundtracks from Italian, French and American movies.
