On September 17 the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society (LNPS) sets out the 76th concert season. At the opening concert in the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, one of Lithuania’s leading symphony orchestras, will be led by the long-time artistic director of the LNSO, Honorary Conductor Juozas Domarkas. The concert is dedicated to the Maestro’s 80th anniversary. Up until New Year the LNPS will offer the audience over fifty original programmes, which will be presented at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Hall, Museum of Applied Art, St. Johns’ Church, Lithuanian Academy of Sciences Hall and Trakai Castle Great Hall. More than ten monthly concerts will be brought to various Lithuanian cities.
