Part of the MUSIC IN TRAKAI CASTLE Series

Educated at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Dallas University and Boston Conservatory where he was a recipient of a prestigious scholarship (USA), and subsequently invited to appear at the National Rhine Opera in Strasbourg (France), Edmundas Seilius finally decided to decline all the tempting contracts and returned to his homeland to dedicate his talent and artistic ambitions to the Lithuanian audiences. His original chamber music programmes with soprano Kristina Zmailaitė can be described as the exploration of unbeaten tracks into the world of rarely performed music. The duo’s genuine interpretations claim myriads of hearts; the stories of German and French operettas sound very suggestive and true of life in their inspiring performances.
