Here again, Musica humana ensemble is paying homage to the genial Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. On 23rd of April 1764, the eight-year-old Wolfgang with his father and sister came to London where he stayed over a year. This period was seminal to the development of the child prodigy – he performed a lot, became the favourite of the Royal family, and met Johann Christian Bach (who is often dubbed London Bach). This composer influenced Wolfgang greatly. Inspired by him, Mozart composed his first Symphony E flat major and numerous other works melodies of which will fill the domes of Trakai Great Hall this afternoon.
