On this Sunday afternoon the renaissance Great Hall of Trakai Castle will be filled with the most beautiful opera duets. The audience will meet four Master Degree students (Prof. I. Milkevičiūtė and L. Norvaišas) of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre – sopranos Simona Liamo and Gintarė Ramanauskaitė as well as baritones Dmitrijus Kudrinas and Rokas Šveisteris. Together with pianist Raminta Gocentienė the young vocalists will perform duets from operas by Mozart, Donizetti and Verdi, and also Lehár’s operetta Die lustige Witwe. The duets will present most intriguing stories – from witty pèripetéia of the marriage of Figaro and Susanna, intrigues of the charismatic Don Giovanni and intricate adventures in Così fan tutte to dreamy and romantic melodies, and lyrical love confessions.
