Algimantas Bražinskas’ oeuvre now includes works of the most diverse genres: songs for solo voice and choir, song cycles, oratorios, cantatas, operas, chamber and symphonic works, music for children. In his early years he tried his hand in sonoristic and aleatoric composition, but later on he opted for wider audience and turned to more traditional compositional means. Emotionalism, dynamic development and expressive melodic lines are the main features of his style.
