Bernhard Lang is Austrian composer and computer music enthusiast, who collaborates with choreographers, video artists and DJs. Production of his opera I Hate Mozart in Vienna, in 2006, has hugely contrasted with the avalanche of celebratory events dedicated to the Mozart Year. Recently, the composer has been interested in repetitive aesthetics, looping, non-traditional sound objects, engaged in writing a series of works titled Differenz /Wiederholung, some of which will be performed in this programme. The concert will open with the premieres of large-scale symphonic opuses by Feliksas Bajoras and Zita Bružaitė.
