ENRIQUE CRESPO – Suite Americana for brass quintet

“Let’s get acquainted with the orchestra” is the motto of the concert. For a number of years the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO) has been presenting Orchestra Zoomed In. Genuinely admired by the audience over the years, the programme opens the stage for talented string and wind members of the orchestra showcasing their soloist skills in seldom programed scores.

This afternoon at the Museum of Applied Arts and Design the LNSO instrumentalists appear as chamber musicians presenting opuses for flute and string quartet as well as brass quintet. In addition to Mozart’s Quartet for flute and strings, a classical masterpiece, the programme features cheerful pieces for bass quintet by the 20th century composers.
