International Chamber Music Summer Festival

CURONIAN SPIT

A co-operative event organized by the Musica Humana chamber ensemble, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society and the Municipality of the city of Neringa, the Curonian Spit Festival began its existence in the summer of 1999.

Usually held in the first half of August in the churches of the small resort towns of Nida and Juodkrantė, the Curonian Spit Festival offers an exquisite cultural programme for holidaymakers, who can find peace and harmony not only in the most spectacular sceneries on the Baltic coast, but also in sensitive and intimate chamber music by Baroque, early classical and contemporary composers.
