Vilnius Piano Music Festival gala concert introduces four eminent exponents of international classical scene: piano alchemist Mūza Rubackytė; cellist László Fenyö, whose every concert in his homeland is recorded live or broadcast on Hungarian radio for as historically important events; violinist Michael Ludwig who according to conductor JoAnn Falletta is “perhaps the last representative of the golden age of the violin for his tone reminds legendary Jascha Heifetz or Nathan Milstein”; and JoAnn Falletta, the conductor praised by “The Washington Post” as having “Toscanini’s tight control over ensemble, Walter’s affectionate balancing of inner voices, Stokowski’s gutsy showmanship, and a controlled frenzy worth of Bernstein.”
