“Muses have been meeting and siding with each other since the time when a man tried his hand in the act of creation. Music, art, poetry and dance are the miraculous keys to different epochs, unlocking the gate to the palace of human history, whereas the creator is a mirror of his time. The language of art is universal, offering much more exhaustive insight than can be learned from historical facts. Today we will be the witnesses of the meeting between music and art. We won’t be looking for precise dates and numbers, but soar above the mysterious world of creators on the wings of the two Muses”, says artist Jūratė Stauskaitė, the host of the concert. Under the baton of Maestro Robertas Šervenikas the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra will share the stage with young soloists Dovilė Kazonaitė, Pijus Paškevičius, Marija Pranskutė and Aistė Baliunytė. The programme will be enhanced by the video projections of different artwork.
