Having studied with the legendary Pierre Sancan and Aldo Ciccolini, the pianist has honed his expertise in authentic performance manner and intricacies of the 19th-century music. Henry has given recitals and appeared with orchestras around the globe – Europe, the USA, China and Japan. He excels in Chopin’s piano music as validated by the outstanding critical reviews on his recording of Chopin’s 24 Preludes.
His recital Cross Dedications features the 19th-century piano compositions, dedications of which reveal charming friendship – Chopin’s Second Ballade dedicated to his friend Schumann, and the latter’s Kreisleriana dedicated to Chopin.
