“Krzysztof Jablonski is the brightest talent in the Polish piano world after Krystian Zimerman. Born in Wrocław, residing in many countries, he is the celebrity of numerous concert halls from Warsaw to New York.” – Luna Music, Wrocław (Poland)

The winner of prestigious piano competitions, Polish pianist Krzysztof Jablonski made his debut with the orchestra at the age of twelve and at twenty he was invited to perform in major concert halls in Europe, North and South America, Mexico, Israel and South Korea. Fryderyk Chopin, romanticist of genius dubbed king of the piano, occupies an exceptional place in the creative career of the pianist: in 1999, Jabłonski together with cellist Tomasz Strahl formed Chopin Duo; in 1999-2006, he was invited to perform piano part in a ballet production after Chopin’s music at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw; he performs Chopin’s piano works in various events; Chopin’s music is a focal point of his discography. According to critics, Jabłonski interprets Chopin’s music perfectly. Thus, it is just natural that for his recital in Lithuania the pianist chose music by his compatriot, whose 200th birth anniversary is celebrated around the world this year.
