The Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Juozas Domarkas present violinist Lidia Kovalenko, with whom the Lithuanian musicians have appeared in “Musica Romantica” festival in Switzerland in 2011. Prize winner of various international competitions the Russian violinist has collaborated with a number of renowned musicians including A. Rudin, S. Stadler, I. Ioff, pianists I. Uryash and E. Rodriguez. The soloist will perform Henryk Wieniawsky’s First Violin Concerto. The concert programme also offers Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem featuring prominent Lithuanian musicians – Asta Krikščiūnaitė, Liudas Norvaišas and Kaunas State Choir.
