Part of the ORCHESTRAL MUSIC SERIES
The Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Georg Mark, an Austrian conductor who has appeared before the Lithuanian audiences quite a few times already, together with pianist Daumantas Kirilauskas present a garland of classical and romanticist masterpieces: Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and Third Piano Concerto as well as Schumann’s last Symphony. On December 9, the LNSO will perform this programme in Vara (Sweden). Vara Konserthus, the Swedish culture agency, boasting impressive modern concert venue, presents close to 200 music, drama and dance events per year for over 55 000 visitors from all over the region. Here the Lithuanian Orchestra will share the stage with pianist Lisa de la Salle.
