Part of the NIGHT SERENADES series
Three female characters: obedient, self-sacrificing Almirena; sly and spry maid Susanna; and a hedonistic femme fatale in the person of Carmen. All these different heroines created centuries apart will be impersonated by soprano Asmik Grigorian, whose penetrating timbre, histrionic talents and natural beauty have earned her accolades as a black jasmine on the Lithuanian opera scene. In the past few years, she has appeared in numerous opera productions and TV shows and thus become a well-known public face. Grigorian’s return to the concert format offers her admirers a possibility of a more intimate contact with her musicianship.
