Part of the MUSIC IN TRAKAI CASTLE Series

The National Philharmonic pursues a unique tradition of organising the  Atžalynas series of concerts dedicated to young musicians. The Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra will be led by Christian Frattima (Italy) and Fyodor Kalinin (Russia), the students of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Along with masterpieces such as Mozart’s Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Barber’s Adagio for strings and Tchaikovsky’s Elegy, the listeners will be treated to the opuses for viola by Telemann and Paganini. The evening will be crowned with Cimarosa’s comic opera Kapellmeister saturated with humour and unexpected situations.
