Programme: russian romances, popular waltzes, tangos, musettes, songs

Winner of international competitions, soloist with the Lithuanian National Philharmonic Society, a recipient of Cross of the Knight of the Order of Vytautas the Great and Government Prize, Judita Leitaitė admits: “I am especially interested in working on the works that I perform very seldom in my classical programmes. I enjoy collaboration with outstanding musicians and believe that our programme will lit the hearts of many a listener.” The musicians offer autumnally nostalgic Russian romances, popular waltzes, tangos, musettes and songs. The soloist teams up with Tomas Leiburas, pianist, conductor and composer writing for orchestras, instrumental ensembles, film and theatre, as well as accordionist Genadijus Savkovas, the arranger of compositions featured on the programme.
