Part of the FAMILY SERIES
Young, beautiful and talented singers – students of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre – invite to a cheerful matinee concert where they will discuss the opera seriously and not. Doubtlessly, “the most serious” will be Mozart’s Don Giovanni, even though the composer named this opera dramma giocoso, i.e. jocular drama. Nobody has second thoughts about wittiness of Così fan tutte: so many disguises, deceptions and misunderstandings that end happily! While the uncompromising Bach in The Coffee Cantata scoffs at the quarrelling parents and children – to drink or not to drink coffee? (just think, what “a crime”!). Since we live in a vocal music renaissance, this event will be a great treat for the listeners of various ages.
