Part of the CURONIAN SPIT FESTIVAL

The Musica Humana Ensemble continues its chamber music series, with a programme of Bach’s masterpiece and works by contemporary Lithuanian composers featured on the ensemble’s latest CD Raktažodis (Keyword). According to composer Vaida Striaupaitė-Beinarienė, this musical keyword unlocks the doors into the music of various epochs and also our inner world. In this composition one hears Renaissance harmony, Baroque expression and Romantic flight. At the end the composition reveals the characteristics of our time – grotesque, discoveries in the field of sound possibilities and technology as well as unabridged freedom.
