Part of the MUSIC IN TRAKAI CASTLE series

“It was Baroque of the highest level. The ensemble’s performance brought us a true consolation, and comforted mind and soul…” these were the ensemble’s reviews after its performance in Denmark. Musica humana is one of the leading early and contemporary music ensembles in Lithuania having performed over 3000 concerts at home and abroad presenting impressive concert series: “Early instrumental and vocal music of Europe”, “Baroque Route”, “French music: from Renaissance to contemporary”, concerts dedicated to J.S. Bach’s anniversary as well as W.A. Mozart’s 250th anniversary. A winner of national and international competitions, R. Vaicekauskaitė often joins Musica humana on stage. “R. Vaicekauskaitė is a courageous and artistic personality. Marica is her debut role in Kaunas Theatre and an astounding triumph”, critics commented her appearance, which earned her Golden Stage Cross and Fortuna awards.
