Part of the CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES
Hardly one could stay unimpressed after hearing the performance of Flemish clarinettist Eddy Vanoosthuyse. He has earned international recognition for his unique interpretations, splendid technique and subtle aesthetic flair. Regularly touring between Western and Eastern Europe (he has visited almost all countries of this continent), the clarinettist is also often invited to Central and Latin America, the USA, Canada, China and Japan. In Belgium and on his intensive concert tours Vanoosthuyse has performed Mozart’s Quintet for clarinet and string (where the introvert element intertwines with the soloist spectacle) more than 50 times, thus he can be called the authority of this score.
