In an attempt to widen the stylistic horizons of its repertoire, the ensemble offers a programme, which aims to fill in the gap between the early and the latest music and find affinity between the two worlds. The bridge connecting the Rococo and Romanticism will expose an evolution of musical experiments and reveal a smooth transition from one epoch to the other. The programme’s novelty – a more open declaration of emotion, which was characteristic of romantic composers Schubert, Schumann and Grieg.

      

Vocal part of the concert is trusted to Raminta Vaicekauskaitė, Musica Humana’s regular partner, a laureate of international vocal competitions in Germany, Kiev, Riga, Kaliningrad and Vilnius. Aside to her impressive opera career she is an ardent chamber musician.

Instrumental solos will feature talented wind players Robertas Beinaris and Justinas Mačys. The latter seeks a Master Degree under Prof. Algirdas Vizgirda, is the first-prize winner of the First International Flute Competition in Lithuania. J. Mačys just returned from Lyon, where he studied with the renowned French flutist Philippe Bernold.
