Passion of the Argentinean tango, precisely articulated classical harmonies, noble string tone and vibrating accordion sound… In its unexpected programme Ashore of a Cosmic Ocean the Čiurlionis Quartet shares the stage with young Lithuanian accordionist Martynas Levickis in performance of works by Ástor Piazzolla, Joseph Haydn and Poul Ruders, as well as surprising musical improvisations and jokes.
