Part of the J.S.BACH MUSIC FESTIVAL

Hipocondria ensemble was founded in 2000, when young but already experienced musicians decided to form their own historically motivated group. In an attempt to recreate an authentic 17th-18th century sound, the performers use period instruments or their copies. Hipocondria collaborates with the singers specialising in music of the period. The ensemble focuses on baroque and early classical works. Hipocondria has taken part in international early music festivals; the ensemble’s recordings have earned prestigious awards.
