15.5.2013   Internationally Acclaimed Opera Singer Violeta Urmana Will Open the Vilnius Festival
The Vilnius Festival will begin on June 3rd, three weeks from now. It is no coincidence that the Festival’s opening concert will take place at the red carpeted temple of the arts – the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre. That evening the listeners will have a rare chance to hear the best known Lithuanian opera soloist Violeta Urmana, who has prepared a programme together with the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra under conductor Modestas Pitrėnas.
